ReplyDeleteMy name is Meghan and I am the creator of Bike For Books, a charity bike ride that goes from Storrs, CT to San Francisco, CA. We are currently in Day 7 of our travels, and spent a night earlier in the week at the Hiker Hostel at St. Thomas in Vernon, NJ. What a beautiful area of my home state of NJ! I had no idea we had such beautiful scenery in the northern section. Thank you for your excellent hospitality.
To give you a little information about what our ride is all about, basically the ride is being used as a fundraiser for a new college textbook scholarship fund I created this past semester during my final days as a University of Connecticut graduate student. Money raised will go towards a textbook scholarship that will benefit the youth I've been working with over the past couple years in the North End of Hartford, CT.
